*UPDATE* Please click here to see new details of our 30th Anniversary Bike Show and Party, including ticket prices Rich Cromarty
Sadly, Rich Cromarty passed away in the early hours of Wednesday 15th April. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him, and our thoughts go out to his family. It was fantastic to see so many bikes turn up for Rich's funeral run, there were 22 bikes at the final count. The motorbike and sidecar hearse was very appropriate. The route to the crematorium was very well chosen to avoid as much traffic as you can avoid at 9am on a Monday. We only really got held up by a milkfloat, which is quite ironic considering Rich used to be a milkman. Kayla coped very well during the funeral, and the Wake was held at the Colosseum. Rich also had the last laugh by making us all ride in the rain, which cleared up while we were in the Colly. Please click on the above photo to see more pictures of Rich. New Gallery! All of the previous photos from the site are on there. This gallery is linked to the forum, so you only have to sign up once. If you were already signed up on the Forum then you also now have access rights to the gallery. 30th Anniversary BashIts this year and its going to be celebrated in August (see the events page). Can I ask all previous and present members to let me have any photos of past events, which I will copy and promise to return the originals, hopefully I will be able to compile something for the event which shows all the shenanigans that have taken place over the years! Please bring your memorabilia to the Colly on any Wednesday night at about 8.30 or contact me through the club or on email claireveasey@yahoo.co.uk Many thanks Splash Pet Food Run A big thank you to all those that attended our Pet Food Run this year. An unofficial count of bikes made it approximately 185 leaving Ashton Court. With your generosity, and especially that of Parcelforce, we provided a van full of food to both Bristol and Bath Dogs and Cats Homes. Thanks Dave (Flipper) and the drivers - we very much hope to see you again next year. Thank you also to those who made the trip back to the Colosseum where we raised £175 from the BBQ for our chosen charity this year which is NABD. It was absolutely fantastic to see Dawn (Crazy Frog) out and about. DawnAs you may be aware Scrawny Dawny was hit off her bike. She has been in and out of Frenchay, but is currently out and about and doing extremely well. Please see the MAG website for further details by clicking here.
